17 September, 2009 Last Day in Singapore

On monday 14/09/09, it was the last day for my cousins, fren and family in singapore. My cousins and their fren Scott went shopping and I met them at Sembawang Plaza in the afternoon. After seeing certain things the guys bought some shirts from Esprit as I was talking to Resmah with regards to her studies, I try to convince her to follow her heart and go for the translator course and pick up as many languages as she is good in german, french and spanish. She also plans to take up korean.

Later we proceeded to Northpoint and we walked around looking for more things to buy, they wanted to use up all the singapore dollars. Resmah saw a T-shirt in Levi's that she liked and she said that it is too expensive to buy but instead I bought it for her as a present, she did not want to tell me her size but I guess it was small so I bought it and I was right. All the guys have bought alot of things except her. So I decided to get it for her instead.

As we walked along, the time was almost coming to 1700hrs and I told them that I will head back to the house while they proceed to Mustafa, I told them that I need to get to work at 2000hrs and I would not be able to bid them farewell at the airport and I took a cab to my aunt's place. At my aunt's place I was the only guy there are my uncle was asleep, my cousin Sherina, Aunt Villasini, Aunt Vimala, another aunt and Sherina's kids were there. They were talking about the photos. I did say something and I got a comment from my aunt from the states. I did not like what she said as it seems that I had to listen to her but in fact I am not going to as I do as I please to make me happy not anyone else. My uncle got up and heard it and he said he did not mind it at all. I prefer my uncle more than my aunt. There are many reasons I could say it but I wont. Respect has to be earned not given nor demanded from. I took all the photos from my uncle's laptop and wew talked and watch some stuffs on his computer. After which I told him that I need to make a move back and bid them farewell. I told them that I would come and see them next year after I visited my other cousin's in Britain.

I proceeded to the bus stop and manage to get a cab there to the train station. Took the train home. Told me mum what happened and told her that I did not like my aunt for her arrogance and attitude whereas uncle was open-minded. Mum told me not to be bothered too much and she asked me to get ready for work. Left for work and kept myself busy.
