23rd February
Today after work I went home, slept for a while than woke up, as I will be meeting Sheryl and Mike at 5. There was a Chingay procession rehearsal along Orchard road, so I came by Emerald Hill way. It was convenient coming from that side of the lane.
Was there by 2160hrs, thank God, Kasha n Fahmi was there. Talked to some of my friends who were already there. Augustine was talking to me also and I told him certain things about certain persons who have been an imbecile. Mike came in about 2200hrs, Sheryl took
24th February
Woke up about 1pm and was really tired the whole time. Did some cleaning on my computer…also check and updated a lot of things on my computer. Today is the prayers for my uncle who had passed away, was to attend the sunset mass in church but I did not as I took my afternoon nap and overslept till late in the nite about 2000hrs. Mum came back and she was pissed that I did not turn up at all for the prayers and also for the dinner in church. Ah well…..so be it…..Wendy came over to my place after work and we watched the movie “Dragon Tiger Gate”. It was a nice movie. After the movie, send Wendy home, came back and fell asleep.
Ok I got up early in the morning about 0930hrs……clean up the place…sat home watching movies and exercising at the same time. I need to exercise now more often as I am starting to have a tummy already and I do not like it.
After exercising, me went to do some work on the computer. Lately I have come up with some ideas in starting a new business but need to still work into it and see how things will turn out to be. After Wendy called me to come and pick her up. Mum also asked me to buy 15cans of cat food. I went to pick her up at workplace. There her colleagues were teasing me, especially Sharon, always like to crack all the weird jokes with me like How come I not sending her home, how come I did not take her out. Her another colleague who is only 20years old is pregnant. I was really tired, so I went to KFC and bought a 3 piece chicken meal to take away home to eat with Wendy. Also bought the cat’s food at NTUC which was cheaper than Shop n Save.
Once Wendy knock off from work, we walked to the bus stop and headed home. At home we ate the chicken and watch a movie again. She left my place about 0100hrs in the morning as I need to walk her back home. Thank God she is staying near me.
26th February
I came to work in the morning about 0800hrs. Was pretty busy as there were numerous phone calls regards to could not access network. It happened to be Citroen was having a problem with the switches in the room that is why their systems could not connect to the network. Anthony had to rush here in a cab to get things started up as I could not leave my desk and I need to answer all the calls that were coming in. Things died down by 1100hrs.
Went for my lunch and came back to take a short nap in the ITS room. In the afternoon, things were really very quiet. Left my work about 1730hrs, took a train back home and was really so damn tired that I decided to take a nap. Wendy kept calling me so often that I could not even go to sleep.
She said she wanted to come over and show me the clothes that she had bought as she needs to wear it tomorrow for her company’s dinner which will be at katong. She went back about 1230hrs.
14th Febuary
In church, Aunt Regina asked me to go and book a car so that we could use it for the wake….I had a hard time searching for a car as all the vehicles were fully booked. But at the last minute I manage to get the vehicle but had to go to Kembangan Mrt Station to collect the vehicle. Drove back with the vehicle and it was like a heavy traffic jam, me had a hard time. Wendy came and visited too during her break. I had to go and pick her up. Later in the night when everything was over I had to pick her up, me mum and aunt came along with me. Me aunt stayed over at my place for the next 3 days due to the funeral and preparations.
Came early to church, had to go and buy breakfast for everyone also. Carol, Jacqueline and Daniel followed me to go and get the food. After which when I returned, we distributed the breakfast that we had bought. I sat around till all the other relatives came. Had to go and pick Wendy up at Bukit Panjang. Seevetha (my cousin) came with me. Wendy met us as at the same time we needed to photo copy the death certificate for the rest of the people who attended the wake. The service was held at 3.15pm in church. After which, we proceeded to the crematorium where my uncle’s body was to be burnt. It was pouring cats and dogs. There was also a service before they burnt the body. All I could say was I wish that God will forgive him for all his sins as I know he never realized the mistakes he had done in his past. May he be in heaven with my dad, grandmums, granddads and the rest of those who have died in the line of my family. After the service, all of us drove back including my younger brother who was with me. Me, my mum, Aunt Regina and another aunt from Ang Mo Kio together with my brother went to eat at Bukit Batok. The food was nice as I had fried rice with beef. Than we after dinner I had to drive my brother back to Jurong West and my aunt to Ang Mo Kio. The traffic jam was really very bad. It was approaching close to 2100hrs. So I told mum that we will stop by at Bukit Panjang to pick Wendy up on the way home. Came home and was really very tired. Sent Wendy home about 2330hrs.
16th February
Had to wake up early and head down to the crematorium to collect my uncle’s ashes. Mum and Aunt Regina was up too. Arrived there close to 10am. Waited and later the ashes came. Uncle Martin, Raymond and Michael was there also. We had to go into a room and in there we had to put the pieces of bones in the urn, while the last pieces where the skull we had to place them above the rest. Once the urn was closed and sealed, we washed our hands. We took the urn back to the church where Uncle Frances and his wife was also awaiting the arrival of the urn. We had a short prayer before placing the urn in the chamber.
After everything was done, my mum, me and Aunt Regina drove to Bedok to my uncle’s place as we had to clean up his place and throw away a lot of things…he was like the junk man as he collected all sorts of stuffs. Uncle
