12 May, 2006 It has been a great week for me

This past few days have been good for me.Tuesday I came to work early as usual.But stayed till 7.30pm as I needed to redo the computer system on my desk.I needed to do a clean installation so that the system will be running smoothly.Went back with Syed n Patrick at nite.

As for wednesday I had 2 driving lessons in the morning and it too did went smoothly.After the lessons.I met my reservist officer Edmund as he came and pass me his computer to redo it for him.So we went back to my place to do the installation of his pc before my test at 1535hrs.After installation, he drove me to the driving centre and I took my test.I was the 2nd person to leave the room amongst 10-15 other people and the best part of it all was that I was the first to come back as the tester only completed half of the desired route that we were suppose to travel.We came back to the classroom and he told me that I had passed the test,I was so shocked and I thought that the tester was pulling my leg and I asked him to rephrase the sentence again.After hearing it the second time I was so happy. Than I went to take my photo and watch a video.There I met my old church mate from Our Lady Star of the Sea, we talked about the past.His name is also Edmund.Wow what a coincidence having to Edmunds' in a day.Haha.........Amongst all the other people, only 4 passed that included me on the list.After which it ended me and Edmund (my old churchmate) went to but 2 bottles of JD coke and sat down.We talked about the past and many more things till it was abt 7pm,we made a move back home.We exchange numbers also.When I reached back home, I started to do my officer's computer.When it was completed, he came to my place about 2300hrs and I showed him what I have done.So after that,I drove his car to nearby my place to have some coffee n tea n talked about the events that has been happening the things to come.I could see that he was in a very stressful position for the job that he is in.After he which he drove me back home abt 0100hrs, once I reached home I went to bed immediately as I was so dead tired.

Thursday, things in the office was pretty quiet.I downloaded all the patches for Windows XP Prfessional from Microsoft to patch up my system.We also receive an email telling us that there will be a Cycle & Carriage Sports Event at Singapore Polytechnic Stadium this coming Saturday at 0830hrs between Singapore n Malaysia Cycle & Carriage.Nothing much to do but we had to have a meeting about 7.30pm.Patrick ordered some pizzas n chicken wings.The meeting lasted till about 2315hrs,we talked alot of issues concerning work. Wow it was really good to trash things all out and come to the clear. Well all I could say is that in my department all the guys are like a Band of Brothers. We now will be focusing to help each other out in every possible avenue possible.I m glad to have come in to this company and seen that there are really fantastic people around whom I am working with that can talk things out and be opened. It is really nice.We are all jokers. Hey the IT department is the only department in any organisation that works like a team and we always teach one another something so that there is also something to learn.After the meeting all of us walked to Redhill MRT station cab stand to take a cab back.Me n Syed shared a cab and I alighted at Centerpoint so that I could go and meet Kasha there at No.5, when I arrived, most of them told me that they have not seen me for a very long time.Haha......of course cuz I have stopped coming and m concentrating on my work and other issues like sky-diving n rock climbing.Spend the nite there and met 3 new pple, a couple n a german.Came back close to 0300hrs in the morning.Went to have my shower and than went to bed immediately as I was really very tired.Cuz I will be meeting Simon n Celine later in the evening.Ok will carry on my story much later in the day or over the weekends.Cya pple.
